numerous remote sites to communicate with a centralized
computing facility or HOST. The remote terminals are
typically installed at dispersed sites and are connected
to the HUB via a satellite link. The remote terminals
utilize small diameter dishes and thus are termed VSAT
(very small aperture terminals). |
