Oman Fiber Optic Company SAOG:

Oman Fiber Optic Company is a public joint stock company listed on the Muscat Securities Market. The Company is engaged in the manufacturing of optical fiber and cables besides telecom installation services such as cable laying, termination, trading of cables etc. The manufacturing facility is located in Rusayl Industrial Estate and is capable of drawing 300,000 fiber kilometers. The cable production capacity is 15,000 kilometers per annum.
The Company was formed in 1996 by a group of Omani and UAE investors. Omantel is one of the principal sponsors of the Company holding 25.96% shares. Other major shareholders include H.E. Dr. Omer Yousif Al Zawawi, Oman and Emirates Investment Holding Company, and Gulf Investment Corporation, Kuwait.

Omania E-Commerce LLC was established in 2005. Omantel and Oman Fiber Optic Company are the major sponsors of the Company holding 40% and 20% equity respectively. The Company is primarily engaged in e-procurement and provision of e-solutions. The Company has entered into a franchise agreement with the Dubai based Tejari FZ LLC. This agreement gives OEC exclusive rights to market Tejari Products and services in Oman.

The Company has emerged as one of the prominent IT Enabled Service providers catering to the various business needs of the customers. Infoline along with its associates has executed prestigious and mission critical assignments for global organizations in the fields of Airlines, Healthcare, Legal, Customer care and Technology. Omantel is one of the major sponsors of the Company holding 45% stake.

The Company was incorporated in 1997 and registered in Abu Dhabi. The company is engaged in the business of operating a satellite based mobile telecommunications system via Geo-synchronous Earth Orbit Satellites. Thuraya provides blanket-to-blanket coverage to more than 110 countries in Europe, North, Central Africa and large parts of Southern Africa, the Middle East, Central and South Asia. The Company has three satellites in orbit, offering mobile telephone services to nearly one third of the global demand.

Arab Satellite Communications Organization (ArabSat):

 Arab Satellite Communications Organization was incorporated in 1976 in Saudi Arabia. The Company is a Joint stock company engaged in the Management and operation of satellites for broadcasting, telecommunication and broadband services. The Company is sponsored by several GCC / Middle East Governments and telecom operators, including Omantel.
